Cooking Light: The Valentine's Edition

Okay, so I stole this concept from Greta...and it's not really cooking light, but the point is I cooked on V-day and here's what happened.

A. I started the day by making som delish heart shaped scones.
B. For dinner we made this awesome spinach pasta. It looks kinda gross, but it was yummo.
C. For dessert I made a cake. (and by made I mean bought).

Joe got me an orchid plant, because when he bought me flowers before, I was sad that they died so quickly. This way I can water them and keep it alive (as long as I remain responsible)! I also got a V-day balloon.


This all seems completely irrelevant now that it's MAY, but it happened and I'm trying to go in order here, so bare with me please. :)

    I remember dad gave mom flowers once...once he convinced her he was not having an affair he made a mental note to never do that again. Wisconsin state troopers have no sense of ha when you wish them happy VD on valentines day...just so ya know.
